Job Description

#We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher to join our educational team for a school in Harborne. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting students with diverse needs, and fostering a positive learning environment. Experience with special education, working with children with disabilities, and through all years. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young learners' lives through effective teaching and personalised support.

Duties



Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons tailored to individual student needs, including those with special educational requirements Support students with disabilities by adapting teaching methods and providing necessary assistance Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence among pupils Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to monitor student progress and develop personalised learning plans Conduct tutoring sessions to reinforce learning objectives and address specific academic challenges Care for toddlers by engaging them in educational activities that promote development and social skills Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and progress reports Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during school hours

Skills



Proven experience in teaching, particularly within special education or working with children with disabilities Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, colleagues, and support staff Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and abilities Experience in tutoring across various subjects or age groups is advantageous Compassionate approach towards children's development, especially in toddler care settings Organised, patient, and able to manage classroom dynamics effectively
