About CPMS



Working throughout the UK rail network, CPMS provides a diverse range of services including - Station platform construction, maintenance and refurbishment works. We also undertake bridgeworks, station roofs and canopies. Building maintenance and refurbishment is carried out in stations, depots, signal boxes, lineside buildings, arches, carparks and roadways. We currently undertake PPM and reactive maintenance tasks as well as Civil and HVAC works and M&E services. Our clients include Network Rail, Train Operating Companies, Freight Operating Companies, Heritage Railways and Light Rail.

About the Role



We are seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to oversee a team responsible for the delivery of PPM contracts and internal CPMS PPM requirements. Upkeep, track and monitor the consistency and quality of the PPM delivery plan and database. Responsible for PPM task allocation utilising both internal resources and supply chain partners

Role Responsibilities and Duties

:

Manage and deliver PPM works from tender/scope through to delivery.

Manage and support the team responsible for delivering PPM services.

Manage the utilisation of internal resource to maximise productivity.

Regularly monitor effectiveness of PPM delivery plan and take action to mitigate programme, commercial, health, safety, environmental and reputational risk.

Prepare Work Package Plans, Task Briefs, and any client H&S documentation.

Review and approve project health, safety and environmental arrangements (specifically requirements under the CDM Regulations 2015 and other legislative requirements) and monitor implementation of these arrangements to promote safe and compliant delivery of projects.

Have regular discussions and meetings with key customers in order to understand needs, concerns and expectations.

Participate in the

on-call rota

to support out-of-hours service delivery.

Key Skills and Experience:



Able to demonstrate experience in a related environment, preferably educated to HNC/HND/Degree level in a construction or building services discipline.

Knowledge and experience of safety, quality, environmental and commercial aspects.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of taking ownership and initiative.

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

I.T. literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel, and Project.

Working knowledge of health and Safety & Environmental Legislation and Standards.
