We are looking for a full time

PPM TECHNICIAN

to join our growing team of service engineers. You'll be working alongside our other service engineers across a large number of our commercial clients across Oxfordshire and surrounding areas.


This is a fully remote role and requires a full UK driving licence.


This role will support the effective, efficient, and safe delivery of our client services by attending client sites to conduct planned and reactive maintenance.


Thermatic Technical FM provide complete nationwide coverage, across the full spectrum of Hard FM services to large, commercial clients. Our team of mobile engineers are supported by the account teams at Head Office to provide both reactive breakdown and planned maintenance services to our clients.

Hours & Location of Work:

Main location

- this is a fully mobile role covering Oxfordshire and surrounding regions

Regular hours of work

- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - 40 hour working week. Whilst this is our company standard working week, our clients require "out of hours" maintenance so early starts/late finishes & night works are to be expected.

On Call

- this role includes a 24 hour on call rota on a maximum 1 week in 4 schedule (Friday-Thursday)

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

Essential:

Experience within the FM industry supporting commercial properties with reactive and planned maintenance activities Experience working on a range of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration equipment including VRVs, VRFs, Splits and Chillers FGAS Cat 1 Working knowledge of Building Regulations Building Environmental and Electrical Services including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning within the building services industry Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations regarding maintenance activities Basic plumbing and building material skills/knowledge Asbestos Awareness Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities include:

Undertaking all aspects of air conditioning maintenance , including the PPM & service dependant on client schedules. Providing accurate timesheet information to designated timeframes Carrying out basic facilities maintenance tasks as required Supporting team members including acting as second-man where required Participating in a 24 hour call out rota Supporting contract teams with meeting SLAs by attending client premises within the desired timeframe Supporting Thermatic with maintaining positive client relationships through on-site interactions with representative and customers of our clients Highlighting remedial works to Technical Team to quote works for our clients. Escalating any major site issues or incidents via the appropriate channel and within acceptable timeframes
