Job Summary: We are looking for someone ready to take a leading role in the management of our international sports and entertainment clients. Someone keen to play a pivotal role as Trippant looks to scale in 2024, with a passion to solve our client\xe2\x80\x99s communications and marketing challenges. As an Account Manager, you will be working with a range of people both internationally both internally and client side. Your key responsibilities are to maintain close working relationships with clients, tracking workflow and managing deadlines. You will have a passion for securing media coverage with a track record of working with media to successfully placing stories. You\xe2\x80\x99ll have a desire to grow professionally, always looking to better processes and in our ability to deliver above and beyond on an international scale. You will be across all delivery and know what is expected of you and your team, with opportunities to step up and lead, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work closely with the Account Director to develop strategies and plans, as well as actively look for opportunities to grow and win new business. More specifically, the role will require you to:

  • Lead client conversations, briefs and updates
  • Own and distribute weekly client reports with a full understanding and management of deadlines and ensure the team deliver the work needed and necessary
  • Support our team and services to clients and provide an holistic support to them, being an ever-present problem solver
  • Anticipate and Identify potential project issues ahead of time
  • Contribute to new business activities with existing and prospective clients`
  • Monitor the media landscape for new opportunities to sell and understand what different journalists, editors, and producers are looking to cover, to ensure our clients are a part of the wider media stories
  • Awareness of all activity on each client account, being the first port of call internally and externally on a day-to-day basis
  • Ensure the team understand their roles in projects, and manage their time sheeting in a timely manner
  • Responsible for supporting Account Executives in managing their diaries, workload, and prioritisation
  • Report up and support the Account Director wherever needed
  • Ongoing pitching to media contacts and successfully landing and planing news stories
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with media and ensure all information is up to date
About You:
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to determine key priorities in a busy environment
  • An analytical mindset and comfortable with data
  • Great attention to detail
  • Comfortable and confident working knowledge of Google Drive, with a keenness to learn new systems to make our workflow better, like Slack, Monday.Com, Cision, News subscriptions, and Canva
  • Independent self-starter
  • A keen team player, easy to get on with and light hearted
  • A problem solver with a strong \xe2\x80\x98can-do\xe2\x80\x99 attitude
  • An ambitious person keen to learn and grow
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Experience of maintaining and nurturing client relationships
  • Proactively and continually learn about the sectors we work in and the products we offer
  • Ability to manage multiple client projects and multi-channel campaigns
  • Demonstrable experience of running PR campaigns and communication accounts
  • Existing relationships with key national and consumer media across sport, tech and lifestyle
  • Experience working across all digital communication platforms
  • Sound understanding of both traditional and digital communications
  • Experience working across sports and tech in some capacity (desirable)
