THE ROLE PR and reputation management
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the media agenda to clients and more junior team members with regards to the PR landscape.
Have a nose for what makes a good story and be proactive in unearthing those that have chance to raise the profile of clients.
Proactively pitch additional projects for existing clients, e.g. research.
Have ability to build strong relationships with national press contacts, as well as local and trade reporters.
Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills.
Showcase a strong ability to write both short-form and long-form thought leadership content for C-suite-level business leaders, including as articles, features and case studies.
Demonstrate evidence of different writing styles to suit client?EUR(TM)s objectives, e.g. writing spokesperson quotes, drafting snappy opinion pieces or longer, more traditional thought leadership style reports.
Client and junior team management
Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting deadlines and client expectations managed - be a trusted pair of hands.
Proofread all written material to ensure all content created is of an exceptional standard.
Act as a role model for more junior team members.
Able to manage upwards, to ensure client leads are aware of the latest developments on the account, and to flag any issues as they happen.
Client service and strategy development
Proven success in building and maintaining client relationships, acting as the key point of contact for accounts.
Be prepared to push back to clients if necessary, seeking senior guidance and support where required.
Understand each client?EUR(TM)s objectives, to ensure that all programmes are delivered as strategically as possible - what do clients want to achieve, where are they heading, what can we do?
Ideas generation: take the initiative in developing new ideas to help clients achieve objectives.
