We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Manager to join our team at mult award winning Strong Life Care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies that enhance our brand image and foster positive relationships with the public, media, and stakeholders. This role requires a creative thinker with strong organisational skills and a passion for storytelling.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to promote the organisation's objectives and initiatives.
Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts, ensuring consistent coverage of company news and events.
Create engaging press releases, articles, and other communication materials that effectively convey our message and showcase our brilliant work.
Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing insights to senior management on potential issues or opportunities.
Coordinate public relations campaigns, including events, press conferences, and community outreach programmes.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of messaging across all platforms.
Manage crisis communication efforts, developing strategies to mitigate negative publicity when necessary with support from the SMT.
Evaluate the effectiveness of public relations efforts through metrics and reporting.
Support our Care Homes with award nominations and submissions.
Be one step ahead of our competitors, supporting the Homes to lead successful show arounds.
Arranging our internal award Ceremonies with support form our PR and marketing lead.
Requirements
Proven experience in public relations or a related field, with a strong understanding of media relations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Proficiency in using social media platforms for brand promotion and engagement is highly desirable.
A degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.
