Overview & Responsibilities

Roseberys Auctioneers is pleased to offer a PR & Communications Internship starting this August.



The successful candidate will gain practical experience in media liaison, develop art historical knowledge, learn how to write press releases ready for publication and gain an understanding of how the arts, lifestyle and national press operate. You will also learn how to build media lists strategically and craft compelling stories for print, digital and broadcast media.



This internship is designed as a practical introduction to PR & Communications. No previous experience is required, and while certain skills and interests may be beneficial, all applications will be considered. The role would suit someone with an interest in the arts, media and storytelling. Fluency in English and a keen ear for language are



essential.

Main Duties include:

Support the development of targeted media lists Assist in reporting on media coverage and PR activity Monitor press coverage and media channels Conduct research into relevant publications and journalists Assist on photoshoots to create PR assets Write press releases Liaise with departments to identify stories of media interest Support the Marketing & PR department with general communications tasks including email marketing and social media

The following attributes are beneficial for the role:

An interest in the visual arts and cultural sectors Strong organisational and research skills Awareness of print and digital media

Commitment:

1-2 month programme, 2-3 days per week from 10am to 4pm with one hour for lunch.



A daily allowance of 20 will be provided to cover travel and subsistence costs.
