Creo initiates and organises events and programming across three key strands: photography, film and contemporary art. Established in 2007 as World Photography Organisation, Creo has since grown in scope, furthering its mission of developing meaningful opportunities for creatives and expanding the reach of its cultural activities. The PR Executive role is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to join the organisation at an important moment and take part in further developing its remit and global programming strands. You will join a team of two, comprising the PR Director and Senior PR Executive, as well as work closely with colleagues in Marketing and Production to deliver ambitious international campaigns and assist with the day-to-day running of the press office.
The role requires a team player who is organised in their approach, precise and detail-oriented, possesses a solid understanding of press and an appreciation for the arts and culture media landscape and has a proven track record of securing media coverage. The ideal candidate would have experience working on exhibitions and art fair campaigns and a strong interest in the visual arts.
A sensitivity to language and nuance in communications is a must. Energy and enthusiasm, along with an ability to self-manage, are vital as the role is incredibly varied and the company is fast-paced and ambitious.

PURPOSE
The job holder willwork with the PR Director and Senior PR Executive in delivering in-house mediacampaigns for the organisations key projects and assist with day-to-day admintasks to support the work of the press team and maximise our outreach.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support the PR Director and Senior PR Executive to develop media relations strategies for the companys major programmes and wider group activities.
Help with the day-to-day management of the press desk, monitoring the press inbox, responding to, and escalating, queries where required.
Assist the team in placing coverage in print, broadcast, online and digital media.
Work across multiple campaigns with different timelines and priorities, meeting deadlines and delivering results effectively.
Liaise with external stakeholders including PR agencies, partners and talent and manage communications over different time zones.
Approach work with creativity and bring fresh ideas to the table to help contribute to the growth of campaigns.
Research / draft press releases / mailers / press materials and pitches.
Take an active interest in and maintain good knowledge of the visual arts and culture landscape in the UK and internationally.
Develop and maintain good working relations with arts and news media.
Coordinate with colleagues in the Marketing and Production teams to ensure alignment across teams.
Help manage the online press centre and maintain the press database.
Undergo training to use the in-house media monitoring and evaluating software and actively monitor media coverage and prepare evaluation reports.
Organise and assist with press events such as press view days and private views, and compilation of media packs.
Undertake international travel as and if required.
BEHAVIOURS AND KNOWLEDGE
Excellent communication skills.
Minimum 1-2 years PR experience, ideally within culture/visual arts.
Proven track record of placing media coverage and delivering media campaigns.
Strong writing and editing skills.
Demonstrate an understanding of the press landscape, including social media.
Good eye for design; any basic website management experience would be a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Well organised and proactive.
Positive attitude towards your work, colleagues, and external partners.

PRACTICALITIES
The role is based in the companys London office 9 Manchester Square, London, W1U 3PL.
We operate a hybrid model with Tue Thu based in the office and Mon & Fri WFH.
Normal working hours are Mon - Fri, 9am-5pm.
You will report directly to the PR Director.
Out of hours work and international travel will be required.
