The Company:Our client is a not for profit organisation which delivers workforce development solutions to help employers to improve their workforce through increasing productivity, improving learning solutions and helping to boost the skills for staff across a wide range of industries throughout the UK and internationally.The Job:On their behalf they are looking for a skilled a PR Manager who has ideally worked in the healthcare or public sector. In this role you will be responsible for leading on all external media relations, identifying editorial opportunities, and networking with trade publication editors to secure coverage across all brandsYou will have an interest in national policy and be able to apply complex issues across the public sector into compelling content pieces for editorial release. working collaboratively with Product Marketing Managers, you will take products and services to market by securing external publication of new releases, launches and campaigns to raise the profile of their portfolio. You will also support the leadership team to share insights and opinions on sector-related challenges. Your PR expertise will drive forward their external engagement across all channels, taking proposition, products, and services to market through carefully constructed communications plans.Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning, implementing and measuring external communications activities on time and on budget
  • Align relevant PR and communications plans with business strategy and priorities, supporting the achievement of targets, including brand engagement, share of voice, lead generation and customer acquisition
  • Monitor and measure outcomes of all external PR activity and provide quarterly reports to the Senior Marketing Manager
  • Conduct media relations activities across all media sectors working with editorial teams from key trade publications, drafting press releases and securing editorial opportunities aligned to our voice
  • Develop strong relationships with the press offices of their key partners and clients
  • Plan, write and distribute insights content, such as opinion pieces and commentary on national policy, research and workforce challenges
  • Continuously monitor competitor and sector activity, including national and local governmental policy development, suggesting opportunities to increase profile where appropriate
  • Working within the team as required and using your expertise as a writer, to assist in the production of a wide range of content, primarily for external publication
  • Working with the Digital Marketing Manager, incorporate the Digital strategy into external media communications, considering improving search optimisation and increasing site authority, working with editorial teams for online media
The Person:For this role our client is looking for someone who has PR experience gained within the healthcare or public sector ideally and able to:? Plan, implement and measure multi-channel communications? Align communications plans with business strategy and objectives? Copywriting and crafting stories, both online and offline? Social media communications and management? Digital communications systems including electronic mail (for example, Mailchimp or similar)? B2B PR campaign techniques and media relation managementThe Location:Central Bristol (3 days in the office and 2 days from home)The Salary:Up to 35,000Job Type: PermanentSalary: 32,000.00-35,000.00 per yearSchedule:

Experience:
