We\xe2\x80\x99re a British cruelty-free and vegan cosmetics company, specialising in on trend make-up and nail products. Based in North London, our brand was founded in 1982 and remains a well-loved, independent, and family-owned business to this day!

We are looking for a highly driven PR Manager with a strong understanding of the beauty industry to join the team. Taking ownership of the PR strategy and budget to deliver highly impactful brand events and partnerships, we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone to drive positive business results. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and passionate PR professional looking for a hands-on role in a vibrant, fast-paced business.

Role Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning and executing the overarching PR strategy and budget, in line with business goals.
• Provide direct management and support to the PR Assistant, with a focus on career development.
• Manage end-to-end processes of all brand events, activations and partnerships, from concepting, planning and executing, through to reporting on success and learnings.
• Establish and nurture relationships with press and influencer contacts to build strong rapport.
• Monitor spend and keep the PR Budget Tracker updated at all times. Prepare monthly spend reports to present to internal stakeholders in monthly budget overview meetings.
• In line with key launches, research and deliver gifting mailers to support new product and create buzz and conversation in the press/on social channels.
• Proactively contribute to the brand communication plans with innovative and fresh ideas to elevate the brand and achieve increased coverage and features on key channels.
• Identify relevant and brand-building partnership and collaboration opportunities.
• Work closely with the Marketing Team on PR support for special projects.
• Follow up on all key activities with a post campaign report, analysing against set key measures of success, and present to internal stakeholders.
• Deliver weekly coverage highlights, accompanied with sales impact data.
• Assist in annual strategic brand proposals, considering upcoming launches, industry insights and trends to maximise brand relevance and standout.
• Work closely with the Brand Ambassador on content and feature opportunities.
• Handle product and image call-ins in a timely manner.
• Monitor all media (digital, print and social) for brand coverage.
• Monitor and benchmark competitor brand activity, circulate competitor analysis and industry articles of relevance to the wider team regularly.
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with the Marketing, Sales, New Product Development and Design teams.

Relevant Experience

• A minimum of 3 years relevant beauty experience in a PR Senior Exec/Manager role.
• Sound knowledge of the beauty industry with a curiosity of emerging trends and innovations.
• Established industry media contact relationships (key journalists/influencers).
• Keen eye for emerging talent and identifying opportunities.
• Networking and contact building skills.
• Accustomed to using media monitoring platforms.
• Experience in organising and delivering successful brand events.
• Ability to track and report on KPIs to business stakeholders.
• Excellent written English and experienced in writing impactful, creative, on-brand press releases and statements.
• Able to identify and implement opportunities and ideas which successfully deliver ROI.
