This is an exciting opportunity to join us at a pivotal stage of growth, managing strategic communications and PR for both Allies Group and our diverse client portfolio. You'll report to the Head of PR & Communications and collaborate with a talented team of journalists, content writers, designers and marketing specialists.

The Role



As PR Manager, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering communications strategies and campaigns that make an impact. You'll manage client portfolios, oversee campaign delivery, and measure outcomes to demonstrate results.

The role involves reputation and crisis management, stakeholder engagement, media relations and creative content development. You'll be confident liaising with media at all levels and producing compelling copy for diverse audiences and platforms.

You may also support our content team with publications such as Luxe magazine and other contract publishing projects.

Key Responsibilities



Plan, create and deliver PR and communications campaigns for Allies Group and clients Write engaging, high-quality press releases, features and thought-leadership content Pitch stories to national, regional and trade media across print, digital and broadcast Build and maintain trusted media and client relationships Contribute to new business opportunities and tender submissions Collaborate with content and marketing colleagues to deliver integrated campaigns

Success Measures



Strong delivery of PR and communications campaigns Growth and retention of PR clients Development of effective media relationships and coverage Compelling case studies and client success stories

About You



You're an experienced PR professional with a proven record in communications strategy, media relations and storytelling. Confident, creative and organised, you can manage multiple projects, write with flair, and respond calmly under pressure.

You'll thrive in a collaborative, creative environment, building strong relationships with colleagues, clients and external partners.

Requirements



Proven agency or in-house PR and communications experience Strong writing and editing skills Established media contacts (regional and national) Experience managing communications during sensitive or crisis situations Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking Understanding of (or willingness to learn) SEO and digital marketing Journalism experience advantageous
