We are recruiting for a

Practical Assistant based in Cardiff.

The role will require you to push a student in a wheelchair around campus daily on a short term basis until an electric wheelchair can be sourced or the student's physical health recovers (other support work may become available in the area).

This is an enriching role, that will improve the quality of a student's time at university.

We are looking for candidates with experience or understanding of providing support for disabled adults and demonstrate a willing to gain thorough knowledge of the campus. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Please Note:

The working hours vary according to the needs of the student and the academic timetable. Due to the nature of the role, our support workers are required to be registered or become registered Self Employed.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 12.25 per hour

Work Location: In person
