About Us:

We are a small but growing electronics and mechanical systems development and manufacturing company. The Practical Engineer will form the basis of a growing team of engineers providing the design, production and support of advanced offshore seismic and survey equipment.

What you'll be doing:

Designing and building mechanical and electronic systems. Fixing, maintaining, and improving existing equipment. Diagnosing problems and finding straightforward solutions. Working closely with our small team to keep things moving.

What we're looking for:

A good communicator able to converse with both customers and suppliers. Solid hands-on experience with both mechanical and electronic equipment. Practical knowledge of some or all of: Analog and digital electronic design; PCB layout; Software design; Embedded systems and CAD, CNC and manual milling and turning machines. Confidence with tools, test gear, and technical drawings. A practical problem-solver who isn't afraid to get stuck in. Some formal training in engineering would be great, but proven experience will count just as much.
