Practice Development Lawyer - Corporate Tax & Incentives (5+ PQE)
Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow (with flexible/remote working options)
Employment Type: Permanent | Full-time or Part-time considered
A leading UK law firm is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Practice Development Lawyer to join its Corporate Tax & Incentives team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the knowledge and development framework of a top-tier legal practice.
The Role
You will support a dynamic and growing team across a broad range of tax areas including corporate, real estate, and employment tax. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and updating the team's knowledge bank, styles, and training materials.
  • Drafting and implementing new tax clauses and automated styles.
  • Monitoring legislative and market developments and translating them into practical guidance.
  • Supporting internal training and client-facing seminars.
  • Collaborating on business development initiatives and technical briefings.
  • Contributing to firm-wide knowledge management and innovation projects.
About You
You are a qualified solicitor with 5+ years' PQE and a strong background in tax law. You bring:
  • Excellent technical and drafting skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build trusted relationships.
  • A passion for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with corporate/real estate/employment tax documentation.
