Practice Educator Chemotherapy

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and autonomous SACT Practice Educator to lead chemotherapy education and support nursing development within the Haematology/Oncology Department at SASH. This role combines clinical expertise with educational leadership to enhance the delivery of Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) and ensure safe, evidence-based care across inpatient and outpatient services.



The post holder will:



Act as a visible clinical role model, supporting nurses at the point of care.



Deliver and evaluate structured SACT education aligned with national standards, UKONS guidance, and the Surrey & Sussex Cancer Alliance.



Support the development of newly qualified nurses, return-to-practice staff, international recruits, and those new to SACT administration.



Promote continuous professional development and innovation in practice.



Contribute to the Trust's strategic objectives and uphold its vision for excellence in cancer care.



This is a pivotal role for a confident educator with advanced chemotherapy knowledge and a passion for empowering others in clinical practice.
