Main Responsibilities:



Financial Management

: Oversee the financial operations of the firm, including budgeting, financial reporting, and billing processes. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and monitor the firm's financial health.

Human Resources

: Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation processes for legal staff. Oversee training and professional development programs.

Operations Management

: Handle day-to-day operational aspects of the firm, such as office management, facilities, and technology. Ensure the firm has the necessary resources and infrastructure to support its legal work.

Client Relations

: Maintain and enhance client relationships, manage client communication, address concerns, and ensure high-quality legal services.

Compliance

: Ensure the firm complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Oversee compliance with legal industry regulations and codes of conduct.

Strategic Planning

: Collaborate with the firm's leadership to develop and implement strategic plans. Set goals, identify growth opportunities, and develop business strategies.

Technology and Information Management

: Oversee the adoption and utilization of technology tools and software to streamline legal processes, improve efficiency, and enhance client service. Manage data and information security.

Risk Management

: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the firm, such as legal malpractice risks or cybersecurity threats.

Administrative Support

: Oversee administrative staff responsible for tasks like scheduling, document management, and client intake processes.

Marketing and Business Development

: Participate in marketing and business development efforts to attract new clients and grow the firm's client base.

Key Skills Required:



Strong leadership and management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in using legal and office management software.

Understanding of legal aid processes and regulations.

Qualifications:



Experience in a legal practice management role, preferably within a legal aid environment.

Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules and other relevant regulations.

Professional qualifications in management or finance are desirable.

Salary Negotiable Based on Experience
