Overview

Hillfoot Surgery is seeking a highly organised and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the operation and business management of our friendly four-partner GP practice in Pudsey, Leeds. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to contribute to our well-established team. The successful candidate will have a keen awareness of CQC compliance, finance, medico-legal legislation and information governance, as well as a drive to deliver the highest standards of patient care.

Duties

Supervise and/or support the practice team, including GPs, nurses, allied health professionals and the administrative personnel Manage practice finances, including budgeting, invoicing, and financial reporting Oversee human resources functions such as recruitment, staff training, and performance appraisals Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and patient care Maintain high levels of patient satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery

Experience

Strong management skills with a track record of leading teams effectively Experience in financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting Knowledge of human resources practices such as recruitment, training, and staff development NHS management experience is highly desirable but not essential; however, familiarity with medical terminology and practice finances is advantageous Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with staff, patients and allied healthcare professionals.

Hours and pay are negotiable for the successful candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 45,000.00-55,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 37.5 per week
