Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, supporting the healthcare providers, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. This position requires a strong understanding of anatomy and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

:

Provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients within the practice Perform health assessments, including blood pressure, weight, and general observations Administer vaccinations and immunizations according to protocols Assist with chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, asthma, COPD) Conduct wound care and dressings Take blood samples and perform other clinical tests Provide health education and advice on lifestyle and preventative care Support the management of patient records and documentation accurately Collaborate with GPs, healthcare assistants, and other team members to ensure coordinated care Participate in clinical audits and contribute to quality improvement initiatives Maintain infection control standards and ensure compliance with health and safety policies Provide telephone triage and advice as needed

ESSENTIAL

Registered Nurse qualification with a valid nursing licence. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Previous experience in a clinical or general practice setting is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to provide compassionate patient care with a focus on quality service. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
