Job Description

Melbourne & Chellaston Medical Practice is a very busy, high achieving practice with 15,600 patients, based across 2 sites. We offer an organised and supportive work environment with patient care at the heart of everything we do. Our clinical IT system is SystemOne. There are 5 partners, 4 Salaried GP, 1 ANP, 2 Clinical Pharmacist. Our experienced nursing team comprises 2 Practice Nurse, and 2 Nurse Associate.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Practice Nurse, to join our friendly and dynamic team. The salary is negotiable and will depend on your experience. Hours are negotiable but would need to cover a Monday

The successful candidate will work autonomously in the care and management of patients within the skillset of the successful nurse. You will also assist with carrying out Chronic Disease reviews, particularly Diabetes Management.

You will be part of the nursing team and some duties may include some treatment room work such as dressings and wound care, injections, ECG, immunisations, smears and phlebotomy depending as qualified to do so.

Qualifications



Essential

To be a member of the NMC and have a current PIN Previous General Practice/Primary Care experience
Desirable

Independent Prescribing Qualification (or evidence of working towards that)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20.00-23.50 per hour
