Grove Medical Centre in Felixstowe are looking for an experienced practice nurse to join their busy team on a full-time basis.
As a key member of our practice, you will be able to treat patients along with the support of our team of GP's, nurse practitioners, practice nurses, health care assistants, and dispensary and administration teams.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Undertaking health assessments, administering medication and treatments, and performing diagnostic tests.
Providing and evaluating a range of health interventions to ensure that patients' health and social care needs are met.
General health and well-being promotion as well as creating individual, person-centred plans for patients with, or at risk of, a long term condition.
Managing and treating long-term conditions, in line with national and local policies and the practice needs.
Reviewing medication and working with patients to support their adherence to prescribed treatments.
Implementing, and participating in, vaccination and immunisation programmes for both adults and children, including patients travelling abroad.
Meeting the needs of patients presenting for opportunistic wound care.
New patient and health checks.

About the Candidate
All applicants should have the following qualifications, registrations, skills and experience: Current NMC registration with an active PIN.
Evidence of clinical skills and experience in treatment room consultation, phlebotomy, ECG recording, screening, management of long-term conditions, cervical cytology sampling, vaccinations and immunisations, assisting with minor surgery, dressing and wound care, and recording spirometry.
Compassionate manner with an empathetic approach and demonstrable kindness in all aspects of your work.
Knowledge, and experience of its application, in supporting long-term conditions.
Insight and understanding of current issues in nursing and the wider NHS.
