Practice Nurse - Maternity Cover

We are a well-established, busy and growing GP Practice operating from two surgeries with a friendly and supportive team of 40+ staff. (GP Partners, Clinical, Admin and Patient Support teams).

We are seeking an experienced

Practice Nurse

to join our friendly GP surgery team on a

maternity cover

basis, starting in

September 2025

. This is a key role within the clinical team and we are looking for someone confident and competent in delivering high-quality care in a busy general practice setting.

The role could be full time or part time and we may consider shorter length contracts for the right person.

Essential requirements:

Current NMC registration Experience working as a Practice Nurse in a GP surgery Trained and experienced in the delivery of routine treatment room duties including immunisations, cervical screening, wound care and chronic disease management

Desirable:

Independent prescriber (not essential) Confident and competent in the management of

respiratory long-term conditions

(not essential)
