People & Skills Pledge are recruiting for the following vacancy with Dr Mathews, Stirling Medical Centre, Grimsby

Practice Nurse

Hours: 25 hours weekly

Salary: 17.00 per hour

Contract: 1-year Fixed Term (Newly Qualified considered)

Stirling Medical Centre, Dr R. K. Mathews practice is a forward-thinking and innovative provider of primary care services. We are based in Grimsby and the practice's mission is to provide a first-class primary care service to the people of Grimsby and the surrounding area. It will seek to innovate in its use of resources, both human and technical, to maintain its delivery of a high-quality service during a period of rising patient demand and changing financial circumstances.

Are you someone who has the following attributes, if so, we would love to hear from you:

Person Specification:

Implementation and management of chronic condition care plans Ability to manage well woman and well man clinics and immunisation programmes Experience of providing wound care, ECGs, blood tests, venepuncture and spirometry Proven experience of infection control audits and ability to produce annual IPC statement Accurate maintenance of electronic records with proper coding (SNOMED/read) Collaborative working with GPs and external agencies whilst supporting clinical emergencies and safeguarding matters

Requirements:

NMC Registered Nurse Experience in general or practice nursing, chronic disease care and infection control Clinical competency in immunisations, cervical screening, wound care, spirometry ECGs, pathology result interpretation Strong communicator with effective teamwork, leadership and time management skills Enhanced DBS will be required
