Sutterton surgery are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care, supporting the clinical team, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. This position requires a strong understanding of patient needs and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessments, treatments, and health education. Assist in the management of chronic conditions and promote preventative care strategies. Administer vaccinations and perform routine procedures as directed by the healthcare team. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with practice policies. Collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and medication management. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the practice environment. Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Skills

Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices. Proficient understanding of human anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Empathetic approach towards patient care, demonstrating compassion and understanding.

Pay: 18.00-19.92 per hour
