Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced general practice pharmacist, who will work along side a multidisciplinary primary care team and established in house pharmacy team.

We are a large forward thinking training practice with over 15,000 patients and long standing primary care team.

The post holder will provide clinical pharmacist appointments, proactively and competently manage answer routine medication queries from patients and colleagues.

The post holder will also participate as part of the pharmacy team with areas of chronic disease management, medicines optimisation, quality improvement, SMRs, the quality and outcomes framework and other enhanced services.

The role offers a very good balance of clinical patient facing work and medicines management admin.

The post holder will provide support to practice staff with regards to prescription and medication queries, ensuring integration with community and hospital pharmacy to help utilise skill mix, improve patient outcomes, ensure better access to healthcare and help manage GP workload.

The role is pivotal to improving quality of care and operational efficiencies and so requires motivation and passion to deliver excellent service within general practice.

The role offers a very good balance of clinical patient facing work and medicines management admin.

Salary is depending on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 45,000.00-55,000.00 per year
