We are looking for someone who can start in February 2026 to cover our Practice Pharmacist while she is off on Maternity Leave.
Information about Post:
MPharm degree and registered with GPhC essential
24 hours/ week - ideally Monday, Tuesday and Friday - but some flexibility
Band 7 salary, based on experience
Previous primary care experience preferred but not essential
Good IT skills
12-month contract, ideally starting Feb 2026
Main roles and responsibilities:
Acute prescription requests
Medicines reconciliation
Processing hospital letters
Processing treatment summary reports
Responding to queries from patients and healthcare professionals
Working alongside pharmacy technician
Practice Information:
Approximately 6500 patients and 3 partner practice
Part-time health board pharmacist and part-time pharmacy technician
