Winch Lane Surgery require a receptionist to join their front-line team. This team provides a point of contact for patients and acts as a focal point of communication between patients, Doctors, Nurses and other staff as well as performing related organisational and administration tasks.
The main duties of the role include answering the phones, booking appointments, greeting patients, dealing with prescriptions, filing and assisting with ad-hoc administrative duties as required. Previous experience of working in reception or in a customer facing role, ideally within a healthcare environment, is preferable. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work well under pressure with excellent communication skills. Confident use of IT is also an essential skill for the job.
All our receptionists are required to be flexible in their working hours and duties to ensure we can cover colleagues' absence whilst continuing to always offer patients the best level of service possible.
We provide full training for all staff.
Permanent - 31.25 hours per week over 4 days. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
