We are seeking professional and friendly Receptionists to join our team. The ideal candidates will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong organisational abilities, and a keen attention to detail to ensure the smooth operation of our front desk and calls to the Practice. The ideal candidates will posses a positive, friendly manner, be able to remain calm in a fast paced environment & work as part of a busy team.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner.
Answer incoming calls, manage phone etiquette, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
Booking patient appointments by phone.
Handle administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, creating a welcoming environment for clients.
Bushloe Surgery is supported by 5 partners, 7 salaried GPs and 5 Registrar GPs. We are based in a purpose-built medical centre in Wigston, providing a wide range of services to a patient list of around 13,500. We are also a teaching practice, teaching both medical students and GP registrars.
The vacancy is for 24 hours per week with days to be agreed. We require flexibility and assistance in covering holidays and absence. Previous experience would be preferred but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
