We are looking for an experienced Practice Supervisor to Children in Care Team for Derbyshire County Council

? About the Role:

  • Lead and support a team of professionals in the Children in Care Team.
  • Provide guidance and supervision for maintaining high standards of care.
  • Responsibilities include case supervision, team management, and collaboration with stakeholders.

? Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and lead social care professionals.
  • Case Supervision: Guide on complex cases for optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external partners.
  • Quality Assurance: Contribute to continuous service improvement.

? Role Details:
  • Working Hours: 18.5 hours per week.
  • Working Pattern:
  • Week 1: Thursday and Friday (full working days).
  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (full working days).

? Requirements:
  • Social Work England registered social worker.
  • Significant experience in childrens social care.
  • Supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
