Job Description

During this two year training program, you will learn the knowledge and skills, which you will need to become a Registered Pharmacy Technician. Youwill be given study time to achieve the knowledge component of the training program and you will develop your skills by undertaking on the job training. You will be expected to dispense medication, undertake medicine management duties, replenish and maintain stock and support the dispensary and ward staff. This is a demanding role and will require study both in work and in your own time.



The expectation is that you manage your time to facilitate the completion of your studies. You will receive full support from an Educational Supervisor and qualified pharmacy assessors to complete the qualification. You'll learn about working in a physical or mental health hospital, interacting with people from all different roles to build skills & enhance your career path. Post holders will be expected to travel between trust sites and community bases within MPFT . Please note the following : Must be aged 16 or above.Must have been resident in the UK/EU for the last 3 years.Must not hold a Level 3 qualification or above in the subject they will complete the training in.Must not already be in any form of formal government-funded education.
