About the Role

A specialist legal practice in

Manchester

is looking for a

Pre-Litigation Fee Earner

to join its growing

Housing Disrepair

team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience managing a legal caseload in housing disrepair.



This role offers flexible

hybrid working

, with just

one day a week in the office

and four days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of Housing Disrepair claims in the pre-litigation stage Draft Letters of Claim and manage protocol correspondence Review evidence including disrepair reports and tenancy documentation Liaise with clients, landlords, and third parties professionally Negotiate settlements and prepare cases for litigation when necessary Maintain accurate records using the case management system Ensure compliance with legal protocols and internal processes

What We're Looking For

Experience managing your own caseload (HDR) Understanding of pre-action protocols is beneficial Litigation experience is helpful but

not essential

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach A commitment to delivering excellent client service
