A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated professional to lead our Prep boarding house and take responsibility for the day-to-day care of boarders. This is an exciting time to join us and a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about pastoral care to invest in the lives of our pupils.
Your responsibilities will foremost be running the boarding house, creating a 'home from home' environment that attracts more boarders, and overseeing bedtimes, wakeup and weekend activities. This will mean working as a key member of the pastoral care team and with academic staff interacting with the support functions throughout the whole school to ensure an appealing and happy boarding house.
This is a full-time, live-in position working during term time and would best suit a confident, warm and caring individual, with the ability to maintain discipline, exercise patience and instil energy, enthusiasm and a sense of fun! The ideal candidate will be a fantastic leader with a flexible approach to work, a high level of personal organisation and a talent for bringing the best out of young people.
We are open to candidates who are from teaching and non-teaching backgrounds.
