We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Chef to support our kitchen operations. The Prep Chef is responsible for preparing ingredients, assembling food items, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace to ensure smooth daily service in our coffee shop.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients daily (washing, chopping, portioning, and labeling)
Assist with preparation of menu items such as sandwiches, pastries, salads, and breakfast items
Follow recipes and portion guidelines to maintain consistency and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, prep areas, and storage
Properly store food and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures
Comply with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
Assist with inventory checks and restocking prep items
Support baristas and kitchen staff during busy periods
Dispose of waste and recycling properly
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Early morning availability preferred
Part-time or full-time shifts available
