, we have a team of around 400 colleagues. We produce gluten free sandwiches and ready to eat or reheat sandwiches, wraps and other bread-based products, salads and ready meals for some of the biggest retailers in the UK including Asda, Aldi, Co-op, Lidl, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Waitrose.

What you'll be doing

As a Prep Operator





You will be an essential part of production, working in the busy preparation area ensuring the ingredients are prepared to the highest quality and standards Working as part of the high-risk team preparing raw materials and ingredients to be used to make the products This is a physical role that requires some heavy lifting Effectively contribute to improved line performance and efficiencies Maintain excellent Housekeeping, Health & Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene standards Resolve running problems/issues Handling food ingredients Communicate effectively with your area leaders

What we're looking for

Full training will be provided if successful in this role but are looking for the following knowledge and experience:


Ideally experience within a food manufacturing environment or similar environment Good Literacy and Numeracy skills Ability to work in a fast past, chilled environment Has a keen eye for detail and can demonstrate working in a safe manner and to good H&S practices Able to manage the team and follow management instructions and procedures Able to liaise and communicate with other departments Basic Awareness of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
