Job Purpose



To oversee the preparation, inspection, and scheduling of all vehicles, ensuring they meet the company's high standards for presentation and readiness. The role supports both the service and sales departments, maintaining efficiency across vehicle preparation, repairs, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities



Conduct thorough inspections of all new stock and Sale or Return (SOR) vehicles, identifying and recording any cosmetic or mechanical issues (interior and exterior).

Collaborate with the service department to ensure every vehicle undergoes a full RAC inspection upon arrival.

Organise and maintain the daily schedules for the Service Department, ensuring smooth operational flow.

Schedule and book all vehicle services, repairs, and maintenance appointments efficiently.

Manage the valeting team, providing daily schedules and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.

Ensure all vehicles are fully prepared, cleaned, and ready for sale in a timely manner.

Communicate effectively with the sales team to guarantee vehicles are ready for customer handovers.

Support the wider team with company logistics, including vehicle movement and coordination.

Vehicle Transportation using Brian James RT6 Trailer

Requirements



Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar supervisory role within the automotive industry.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in the motor trade, ideally working with high-end or prestige vehicles in a similar role.

Full UK Driving Licence (clean and valid).

Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively between departments.

High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining premium vehicle standards.

Trailer Driving Experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-35,000.00 per year
