About the Role

Orion Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and experienced dispenser who is ready to take the next step in their career and train as a Pharmacy Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to join a supportive community pharmacy team and progress with full training and funding provided.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of safe, efficient, and effective pharmacy services. Accurately dispense prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and professional requirements. Prepare and check blister packs to a high standard. Provide excellent customer service, handling queries with professionalism and care. Assist with stock control, ordering, and maintaining accurate records. Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth daily operations. Undertake formal training and development as part of the Pre-Registration Pharmacy Technician programme.
Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience working in a pharmacy setting. Qualified dispenser (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Competency in using ProScript dispensing software. Prior experience in managing and preparing blister packs. Reliable, well-organised, and committed to professional development.
