The Mainframe Modernization Pre-Sales Solution Architect provides technical pre-sales support for Amdocs' (Astadia) mainframe application modernization and refactoring solutions. The role focuses on helping customers modernize and migrate mainframe workloads to cloud-based platforms.
This is a customer-facing role that requires strong technical depth in mainframe systems as well as modern cloud-native architectures. The Solution Architect works closely with sales teams, prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders to position Amdocs' modernization solutions effectively.
What will your job look like?

Working closely with sales teams to shape and support customer conversations
Engaging with customers to understand their current mainframe environments and business goals
Designing and positioning end-to-end modernization and cloud migration solutions
Preparing and delivering technical presentations, demos, and solution walkthroughs
Collaborating with delivery, engineering, and product teams to define the right approach
Supporting deal scoping and helping define realistic, value-driven modernization roadmaps
Acting as a trusted technical advisor throughout the pre-sales lifecycle
All you need is...

3+ years of experience with a modernization company, System Integrator, or Hyperscaler
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect or technical consultant
Strong knowledge of mainframe application and data technologies
Solid understanding of modern Java and/or .NET architectures deployed on cloud platforms
Experience creating and presenting technical pre-sales materials
