Maintain awareness of the broader strategy for Advisory product sales, based on high level of product knowledge and frequent interactions with customers and account management teams.
Support primary sellers in relationship building, lending technical credibility with customers.
Work hands-on with customers to gather solution requirements.
Demonstrates and communicates project implementation best practices.
Work independently on Service demonstrations and provides reassurance that the Service will work effectively and deliver value in the customer's environment.
Interface with technical customer personnel to communicate value of solution in detail.
Deliver technical presentations of offerings to customers and prospects.
Assist with scope creation based upon customer requirements.
Provide sales support as a subject matter expert to the sales team and for inbound opportunities.
Work with account teams, provides new perspectives to existing and prospective customers, as well as Sales Executives, to demonstrate the value of UL services.
Leverage technical knowledge to partner with Sales Executives to drive overall solution win.
Support hand-off to Operations team to ensure proper scope execution.
Assist with supporting "House" based clients
Bachelors and/or graduate degree in scientific or related field
5+ years of related experience
Relevant technical capabilities in the built environment
Deep knowledge and experience with assigned specialty Advisory services
Business acumen and understanding of business sales processes
Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software
