About Peritus Cloud Security

Peritus Cloud Security is a fast-growing cybersecurity Value Added Reseller helping organisations protect their on-premise and cloud environments while reducing overall cyber risk. We work with companies across multiple sectors--finance, healthcare, utilities, and enterprise tech--delivering expert guidance, cutting-edge solutions, and trusted support. As we continue to scale, we're investing in the future of our Technical Team.

Role Overview

As a Pre-Sales Consultant, you'll bridge the gap between the technical and commercial sides of the business. You'll work closely with our sales team to understand client challenges, design tailored solutions, and help win new business. This is a hands-on role requiring broad technical/Security understanding, strong communication skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. You'll also contribute to the evolution of our service portfolio and delivery approach, as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Discovery

Join client and prospect meetings to understand their current security posture, challenges, and objectives. Conduct deep-dive discovery sessions to assess gaps in cloud and enterprise security environments. Translate technical issues into business impact and align with relevant solutions in our portfolio.

Solution Design & Presentation

Design and articulate security solutions based on our current offerings, including assessments, architecture reviews, compliance readiness, and vendor tools. Build and deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and scopes of work that address customer needs. Clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Technical Expertise & Growth

Rapidly learn and gain hands-on familiarity with our existing technology partners and services (e.g., CSPM, CNAPP, IAM, Zero Trust, Vulnerability Management). Stay on top of emerging cloud security technologies and recommend new tools or approaches for the business to adopt. Support and contribute to internal technical projects, knowledge sharing, and process improvement initiatives.

Sales Collaboration

Work closely with the Sales, Marketing and BDR team to shape go-to-market messaging and identify the right solution fit during early sales cycles. Provide and Design technical input into proposals, RFPs, and statements of work. Help build reusable sales collateral, technical templates, and repeatable processes to support scaling.

Customer Success Support

Assist in transitioning projects from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring continuity and alignment. Provide light post-sales technical support or act as a technical advisor on strategic accounts as needed.

What We're Looking For

5+ years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, security consultancy, or technical customer-facing role. Strong foundational understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud security principles. Familiarity with cloud security tools, concepts like least privilege, identity, data protection, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO27001, NIST, CIS). A natural problem-solver with the ability to identify gaps in customer environments and propose actionable solutions. Excellent communication skills - capable of influencing decision-makers and simplifying complex topics. Entrepreneurial mindset - adaptable, proactive, and willing to pitch in across technical areas of the business. Eagerness to learn new technologies and shape your own growth within a scaling team.

Bonus Points

Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, CCSP, or similar. Experience with security vendors in areas like CSPM, SIEM, endpoint protection, IAM, or cloud workload protection. Hands-on experience in technical delivery, whether as an engineer, consultant, or technical account manager.
