We are looking for someone to join our small, warm and friendly team at pre-school. We are looking for someone to work 3 days a week (minimum), 18 hours per week on a Monday (9am-3pm), Wednesday (9am-3pm) and Friday (9am-3pm). We are looking for someone caring, kind, reliable, happy to get stuck in, and someone who enjoys working in a small team to provide the best possible childcare for all the children in our setting. The applicant must understand the importance of working with children, and the importance of being part of our ratios each day. The applicant would be a key worker to a small number of children, completing observations via post it notes, wow moments and tapestry online. We are looking for someone who is able to cover any staff absences when and if needed. More hours may also be available if we find the right person. Daily duties involve getting stuck in with activities such as snack, nappy changing, helping to set up our pre-school room, helping with weekly planning, and thinking of age and stage appropriate activities. Candidate must have a minimum of a level 2 qualification in childcare and an understanding of the EYFS. We are open term time only, 39 weeks of the year.
