Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the overall management of our facility, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. Duties

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management. Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere for children, promoting their development and well-being. Support the planning and implementation of educational programmes tailored to children's needs. Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians, addressing any concerns or queries. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards within the nursery setting. Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development. Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive environment that values diversity. Drive initiatives that promote the nursery's vision and objectives.

Requirements

Proven experience in a management or leadership role within a childcare setting is preferred. Strong background in early childhood education or related fields, with nursery experience preferred. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their growth through engaging activities. Ability to demonstrate effective leadership qualities to inspire and motivate a team. Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices is highly desirable.
