Job Summary

Pre-school & Extended Services Manager - East Site

We are excited to announce that this sought after role has become available at our East Site building based on the Kings Reach, Biggleswade.

The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the day to day running of both the pre-school provision and the wrap around care services. The role entails working as part of the senior management team to deliver awe-inspiring care throughout the setting, liaising and forming positive relationships with parents to support children's learning and development and safeguarding the welfare of all children in our care. The manager will be responsible for two deputies in addition to a team of qualified practitioners.

Monday to Friday - 43 weeks per year, daily hours to be confirmed.

Manager of Rainbow Pre-School & Extended Services - East

Hours of work: 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday term time.

7.15am to 4.30pm or 8.30am to 6.15pm for 4 weeks of the year during school holiday periods.

Reporting to: Head of Learning and Child Development

Reportees: Deputies and Early Years Educators - East

Rate of pay: Salary range 34,000 to 37,000 per annum

This role would be ideal for a candidate who would like to progress their managerial career to the next level.

Qualifications and Skills

Level 3 diploma in childcare is a must with at least 2 year previous experience working in a managerial position in a childcare organisation.
