Thundersley Methodist Church is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced person to join a well-established pre-school. The applicant will need to provide a safe, high quality education and care for pre-school children.

You will be a key worker for a group of children, working within a friendly and supportive team environment. You will be responsible for the care and developmental needs of the children, planning for their individual needs and ensuring that relevant observations and developmental journals are updated regularly. You will need to combine your professional experience and skills to work with children ranging from 2 to 5 years. You will be part of a team, planning a varied and stimulating curriculum to support children in all areas of their development. You will be responsible for ensuring the children are always safeguarded and their needs met.

You will have recent experience of working with Early Years/Nursery aged children (and be able to provide references) and be qualified to a minimum level 3 (full and relevant) . We are committed to safeguarding effectively so we carry out DBS checks on all our employees.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.80 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
