Job description
We are looking for a pre-school practitioner to join our fantastic team at Little Drummers. You will be able to assist in maintaining the smooth running of the pre-school through ensuring a stimulating environment in which the children can thrive, by providing a varied programme of play and learning opportunities. This will be underpinned through your knowledge of the Early Years Foundation stage and an understanding of how children develop. You will take responsibility for a group of key children, ensuring individual needs are met and these are clear throughout the planning.
You will work as part of the team to ensure that the highest quality of care is provided for the children at all times. You will have regard to our safeguarding, confidentiality and Health and Safety Procedures. The successful candidate will have, empathy, resilience, initiative, dedication to children, a good sense of humor, and a relevant level 3 childcare qualification.
Pediatric First Aid, level 3 Safeguarding and Food hygiene is desirable but not essential although the successful candidate must be willing to undertake this training.
This role does include setting up and clearing away the setting on a daily basis. Applicant must be willing to participate in ongoing training.
