Windmill Lane Preschool is a small independently run Term-Time only Pack-away Preschool based in a community church hall, dedicated to nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning.

Summary

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Practitioner to join our team at Windmill Lane Preschool in the heart of our community. This role is vital in shaping the educational experiences of our children, ensuring they thrive in a supportive and engaging environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood learning. Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for children. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Monitor and assess children's development and progress. Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the preschool's educational offerings. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. Engage in continuous professional development to improve teaching practices.

Qualifications

NVQ or equivalent Childcare Level 3 Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or nursery setting. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. Passion for early childhood education and child development.
