Job Description

Tarporley Pre-school require a Pre-school practitioner, to join their dedicated and enthusiastic team on a temporary basis until July 2026 due to expansion, however for the right candidate this maybe extended.

This thriving, Pre-school is based in the heart of Tarporley offering nursery hours, 50 weeks of the year. We provide a stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage of Education for children aged 2 to 4 years.

Part time hours (around 26hrs a week) available between the hours of 7.30am-6.00pm, plus covering staff holidays, 50 week contract. Hourly rate dependent on experience.

The candidate will ideally have:

Level 2/3 in Childcare desirable, SEND experience, Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and the Keyperson approach and of course.......

A flare for glitter

A great story teller

Good construction skills ( blocks, k-nex, Magnetic shapes)

A great baker (Play-Doh cakes)
