Job Description

We are looking for a quality practitioner with experience working within a nursery for a room leader position within the preschool room here at Incredible Kids Derby.

Recognised Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher is Essential!

Candidates will only progress further through the recruitment stage providing they can pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and supply at least two satisfactory independent references, one of which must be a current or previous employer.

Once suitability and full & relevant qualification has been identified, a face-to-face interview will be arranged.

Shifts between: 7:30-5:30 Monday-Friday

Incredible Kids Day Nursery is an independent private childcare provider based in Derby on Pride Park, a short walk from the stadium and velodrome.

We are looking for a dedicated, fun and ambitious childcare educator with a level 3 Childcare qualification who has experience within the early years education sector.

As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage classroom dynamics will be essential in promoting the development of each child.

Responsibilities:



To provide the highest quality care and stimulating learning experience for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Be energetic and enthusiastic for providing quality care for our children.

Produce and implement diverse and educational activities.

To establish strong trusting relationships with parents/carers through building partnerships un order to meet their child's needs.

Show creativity within activities and play.

To utilize organisation skills to provide a safe and inclusive environment.

Communicate with colleagues, parents/carers about children's day and progress.

Have a deep understanding of planning, observing, assessing and record keeping of children's development.

Requirements:



Proven experience within the childcare sector.

A good understanding of the EYFS and/or Development Matters, safeguarding guidelines and ability to develop excellent parent/carer partnerships.

A passion for working with children.

Relevant and recognised childcare qualification.

Proactive approach for professional practice and development.

Provide a clear enhanced DBS check, and two appropriate references.

High standards of health and safety, and to follow policies and procedures.

Pay: 12.90 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
