Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has opened for a supervisor in our Pre-School unit. We pride ourselves in offering a home from home environment, delivering early education though play. A small family run establishment foundered in 1999 and rated highly at our last inspections in all our settings, across all areas.

Are you willing to play 'sleeping bunnies' and hop around like a rabbit. Do you enjoy wind the bobbin up and can sing the little green frog with a smile. Do you love to cuddle and care for young children who need a little reassurance..... if so, this job is for you!

Most importantly, a caring and nurturing individual who will support children in their development, with an understanding and compassionate nature.

You will be responsible in leading a team of 3-4 staff in our 2- 4s unit. The unit has 24 children attending at any one time.

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will be required to hold a

level 3 in a relevant childcare qualification

, Have a profound knowledge of the EYFS and how to deliver this in practice.

A minimum of 1 years experience in leading a small team of staff and be highly committed in reflective practice, who can motivate oneself and others.

You must be confident in delivering language rich activities and in supporting children with SEND.

You will be required to plan exciting activities and learning experiences for 2 to 4 years of age and support and encourage them to reach their full potential.

Key worker responsibilities will apply in addition to your supervisory role.
