Pre-School Lead

About the Role:

As our Pre-School Room Leader, you'll be working closely with your co-worker to support a group of children aged 3-5 years. You'll help to

supervise

engage

, and

inspire

children through a range of carefully planned activities that support

all areas of their development

, while maintaining a warm and safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support activities in line with the

Curriculum for Wales

(Early Years) Ensure children's individual needs are met, including those with

Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

Maintain high standards of care and early education through effective planning and observation Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner Foster strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and external professionals Assist with preparing for

CIW or ESTYN inspections

(experience desirable)

What We're Looking For:

A

Level 3 qualification in Childcare

(essential) Ideally working towards or already hold a

Level 5 qualification

(desirable) Excellent understanding of the

latest Early Years Curriculum for Wales

A caring, proactive, and organised individual with strong teamwork skills Knowledge and practical experience in supporting children with

ALN

Confidence in handling the administrative and leadership aspects of the role
