A Level 3 child care qualification required.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool room leader to join our nurturing environment, where children can thrive and develop a love for learning. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children in a nursery setting and possess the skills to manage a classroom effectively. This role requires strong communication abilities in English, as well as leadership qualities to guide both children and support staff. We are looking for someone all year round, but open to a conversation regarding a term time position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a challenging curriculum that inspires staff and engages early years children whilst meeting Individual needs. Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for all students. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive teaching approach and share best practices in childcare. Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience, including organising educational outings or special events. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or preschool setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative. Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of children.

Pay: 25,396.80-27,248.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
