We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our nurturing educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating atmosphere where children can learn and grow. The Preschool Teacher will play a vital role in fostering the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child in their care.
No previous experience of a Montessori environment is required as training will be provided but a genuine interest will be higly appreciated.
Annual salary based on a 42.5hr week @ 12.72ph - 13.25ph
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
Manage classroom behaviour by establishing clear rules and expectations while promoting positive interactions among children.
Provide individual attention to children as needed, ensuring that each child's unique needs are met.
Create a safe and welcoming environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development.
Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
Drive initiatives that promote parental involvement in the preschool community.
Qualifications
A L3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or QTS, EYTS ,EYPS is essential
Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or nursery setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required to effectively interact with children and parents.
Demonstrated leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and fellow staff members.
A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering children's growth and development.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude in the classroom environment.
